Sharing Christmas 2021

Saguache Sharing Christmas is a long standing community tradition in Saguache. Over the past few years HEART has organized this event in collaboration with various other community organizations and individuals to provide holiday meals and supplemental food boxes to individuals and families who need extra help during this time. Fundraising takes place throughout the year. HEART purchases and organizes donations for the food boxes, volunteers from Mountain Valley School and around the community assemble the boxes and the Saguache Volunteer Fire Department distributes them. Hundreds of individuals benefit from this volunteer event which would not be possible if it was not a community effort.
